Our financial services client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (10+ years) to lead Exchange Traded Derivatives / Futures Operations initiatives

Join a major program supporting the expansion of Futures clearing operations within a global capital markets environment. This role drives operational readiness and delivery across process analysis, stakeholder alignment, system integration, and UAT coordination. The position offers visibility into enterprise-level technology and business transformations with a hybrid work model. Long-term extension and conversion to FTE opportunities are available.

Must Haves

• 10+ years as a lead Project Manager or Business Analyst in Futures clearing within FCM or broker environments
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives and Futures Operations lifecycle including middle office, collateral & margin, settlements, and reconciliations
• Proven experience delivering system integration and UAT testing for capital markets projects
• Degree in business, finance, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering projects for an FCM or clearing house such as CME, ICE, LCH, or OCC
• Experience managing vendor or third-party integration testing

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute operational readiness for Futures clearing business expansion
• Lead analysis and documentation of end-to-end ETD/Futures Operations lifecycle processes
• Coordinate business, technology, and architecture teams to define system integration scope
• Drive testing strategy, execution, and UAT coordination with business units
• Manage project governance including planning, RAID logs, and risk escalation
• Prepare cutover and implementation readiness plans including runbooks and support procedures
• Provide regular program updates and readiness indicators to senior management
