Description
S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft on-premises infrastructure, Azure cloud services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
6 month contract to start. 5 days'/ week onsite in Surrey.
Must Haves:
- 5 years+ of experience managing Microsoft on-premises infrastructure
- 3 years+ of hands-on Azure experience with focus on hybrid scenarios
- 2 years+ of production AKS (Azure Kubernetes) experience including:
- Cluster deployment and management
- Container orchestration and microservices architecture
- Kubernetes networking and storage (Infrastructure as a Code)
- Security best practices
- Monitoring and troubleshooting containerized applications
- Experience with some of the following:
- Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers, Application Gateway)
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
- PowerShell and Azure CLI automation
- SQL Server administration and optimization
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Active Directory and Group Policy
