Senior Infrastructure Specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft on-premises infrastructure, Azure cloud services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft on-premises infrastructure, Azure cloud services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

6 month contract to start. 5 days'/ week onsite in Surrey.

Must Haves:

• 5 years+ of experience managing Microsoft on-premises infrastructure
• 3 years+ of hands-on Azure experience with focus on hybrid scenarios
• 2 years+ of production AKS (Azure Kubernetes) experience including:
• Cluster deployment and management
• Container orchestration and microservices architecture
• Kubernetes networking and storage (Infrastructure as a Code)
• Security best practices
• Monitoring and troubleshooting containerized applications
• Experience with some of the following:
• Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers, Application Gateway)
• Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
• PowerShell and Azure CLI automation
• SQL Server administration and optimization
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Active Directory and Group Policy
