Position Summary

The PMO is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Governance & Compliance Analyst to ensure consistent application of project management standards across all initiatives. This role is essential to maintaining accountability, alignment, and quality in project delivery, while supporting the evolution of PMO methodologies and practices.


Purpose

To provide dedicated support in driving projects that comply with established PM processes and governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with PMI best practices and organizational standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Governance Oversight: Monitor and assess project activities for compliance with PMO standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Standardization: Ensure consistent use of standardized documentation and templates across all projects.
  • Risk & Dependency Tracking: Support the identification, documentation, and monitoring of project risks, dependencies, and compliance gaps.
  • Quality Assurance: Review project deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to governance requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement and evolution of PMO methodologies based on industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and internal teams to promote accountability and alignment.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain governance records and generate reports to support decision-making and transparency.


Must Haves:

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and PMI standards.
  • Experience in project governance, compliance, or PMO support roles.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
