Must Haves:

1. Infrastructure and Environment Delivery

5. Multi-cloud Solutions Implementation/Delivery and Technology Expertise
6. Working Knowledge of Network Designing, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and other Integration Solutions

8. User Access Technologies like VDIs and Terminal Servers

Knowledge & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in application design, development, design for wide range of solutions
• 10+ years of experience in creating Physical Solution Designs and Technical documentation
• 5+ years of experience working on/supporting Enterprise Systems, across multiple Platforms, Applications and Integrations.
• 5+ years of experience in SOA, API Management systems and other Integration solutions
• 5+ years of experience working with Public cloud solutions either in AWS or MA Azure
• 3+ Years of experience working with Hybrid/Multi-Cloud solutions
• Very good understanding of Infrastructure concepts like VMs, Application Gateway etc
• Very good understanding of Networking and Integration concepts like VNets, Subnets, Load Balancers, Firewalls, NSGs etc
• Formal certifications in at least one of the cloud platforms such as AWS or MS Azure.
• General knowledge of software development life cycle
• Highly skilled with On-premise and cloud Integration platforms
• Good understanding and knowledge of Network Design Concepts, Firewalls and Load Balancers in a multi-cloud Enterprise Environments.
• Strong understanding and experience in Software Application Environment provisioning
• Strong knowledge of Issue Management processes, and experience in Coordinating troubleshooting Sessions with multiple teams
• Proficiency in DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline setup, SCM and Deployments
• Good understanding of web services - SOAP, REST, XML technologies
• Good understanding and knowledge on GIT, Bitbucket or other build and deployment tools
• Working knowledge of service management and productivity tools such as Service Now, Jira, Confluence (Will be an asset)
• Basic knowledge of UNIX operating system and networking
• Analytical Skills to investigate and resolve Integration and Environment issues.
• Experience in direct customer and stakeholder engagement are highly desired.
• College or University degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Enterprise systems and application delivery 6-7 years
• TOGAF or ITIL Certification (Will be an asset)
• Business Process Analysis (Will be an asset)
• Proficient in MS Visio with advanced skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite with priority on Excel (Advanced Excel will be a definite asset)
• Guidewire Cloud Exposure including TeamCity would be an asset.
• Experience with all or some of the following:
• Enterprise Accounts and Claims software such as Guidewire
• Experience with enterprise messaging such as IBM MQ / ESB
• Exposure to User Access technologies like Virtual Desktop Infrastructure will be an asset.
• Hands-on experience of GitHub, BitBucket and other CD/CI tools
• Exposure to Mainframe platform and/or integrations thereof

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate Environment Delivery activities for various Project environments, including but not limited to Planning, Environment Design, provisioning and setup of difference Project Environments/Landscapes.
2. Participate in physical solution design discussions; ensuring technical requirements have all been captured for incorporating into Physical Environment designs and documents.
3. Coordinate meetings and discussions with multiple vendors to ensure all activities pertaining to Environment Delivery are identified, approved, planned and executed for successful delivery of Environments.
4. Analyze requirements for Environment Integrations including Firewall, Load balancer, Databases, and Security certificate setup and update the required designs accordingly
5. Monitor the progress of Environment Delivery activities and bring up any delays/risks to Project Leads and managers.
6. Support the triage and resolution of Environment or Infrastructure issues by coordinating with various WSIB teams and vendors. Coordination would include driving Issue resolution Calls/Conferences to drive to resolution.
7. Interact with the WSIB stakeholders, vendors and ITC technical teams by:

• Gathering technical requirements for connectivity and integration within various Environments as per the gathered requirements and scope;
• Coordinate sessions for cost and effort estimations, related to Infrastructure and Environment provisioning work.
• Attending Solution and Technical design reviews;
• Coordinating connectivity discussions and validation for connectivity;
• Ensuring the connectivity solutions meet all the required security policies for confidential data/information and transfers between WSIB and external service providers;
• Providing isolation and resolution of Environment and connectivity issues by leading root cause analysis, providing recommendations and communicating options for resolution of issues;
• Report timely work progress status to lead, project manager and Delivery manager.

1. Collaborate with project or support teams and supporting system integration and system connectivity testing activities.
2. As required by the project, provide after-hours support for applications, integration components, middleware adapters/wrappers and interfaces in order to achieve operational excellence.
3. Provide Environments support during systems integration testing.
4. Provide knowledge transfer and create/update technical documentation.
5. Support release and change management processes as required
6. Perform other duties as assigned or required.
7. Researching Environment Provisioning, integration and Maintenance best practices in order to introduce innovative and creative solutions.
