S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior Developer, ERP to manage the design, build and deployment of custom code within the SAP environment to enable vital reports, integrations, data conversions, improvements and forms.

Permanent role - open to candidates in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto - Hybrid (3 days per week in Vancouver - travel occasionally for candidates in Calgary or Toronto

MUST HAVES:

• Extensive SAP ABAP development experience in S/4 HANA implementations, upgrades, or conversions
• Expertise in OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, OData, Enhancements (BAdIs/User Exits), and Adobe/SmartForms
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of SAP FI, SD, and core logistics processes
• Experience with integrations (IDocs, RFCs, APIs, web services)
• Understanding of S/4 HANA architecture, data models, and simplification items
• Proven performance tuning and debugging experience in HANA environments
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 from a backend enablement perspective
• Exposure to SAP BTP, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), or SAP Cloud integrations
• Knowledge of SAP security concepts, role design impacts, and authorization objects related to custom development
• Experience working within SAP Activate or Agile delivery methodologies
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD alignment in SAP landscapes
