Our oil and Gas client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to assist with operational Improvements utilizing Python, Machine Learning and statistical analysis


Calgary-based office. Candidates will be in-office 4 days/week in Calgary


Must haves:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist solving operational problems through the application of statistics, Machine Learning, and other advanced analytics techniques
  • Experience with Python and Python libraries related to statistics and machine learning
  • Experience in Oil and Gas, Manufacturing or Mining


Nice to haves:

  • Lean Six-Sigma training.
  • Mathematical optimization capabilities (LP, MIP, CP, genetic algorithms).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
