Description
Our Oil and Gas client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimizing data pipelines with Databricks for an application migration program
Calgary-based client. Candidate will be in-office 4 days/week.
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Databricks platform
- Experience working with SAP Data
- Previous Oil and Gas experience
- Experience with lift and shift application migration projects (Moving from legacy systems)
Nice to haves:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certifications in Databricks
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining an infrastructure that supports large-scale data processing and analysis on data platforms.
- Responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities
