Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior Cutover Lead to support a critical S/4HANA Greenfield implementation for a transportation client. This individual will act as a backup and right-hand to the primary Cutover Lead, stepping into a fast-paced environment already in motion.

This role requires exceptional leadership, coordination skills, and hands-on experience managing complex cutover activities-particularly with a strong emphasis on Finance workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and coordinate all cutover planning and execution activities for the S/4HANA implementation.
• Collaborate closely with the existing Cutover Lead, project managers, and workstream owners to ensure a seamless transition.
• Lead dry runs and mock cutovers, manage runbooks, and track cutover readiness.
• Partner with functional and technical teams (especially Finance) to ensure business continuity during the transition.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks to cutover timelines and success.
• Ensure alignment of cutover activities with business stakeholders and IT leads.

Must Haves:

• 8-10+ years of experience leading or co-leading cutover activities in SAP or S/4HANA implementations.
• Proven experience with Greenfield deployments and large-scale enterprise transformations.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and how they integrate into SAP environments.
• Ability to operate under pressure and quickly integrate into a “moving train” (fast-moving, high-stakes environment).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

• Prior experience working on S/4HANA programs in Canada.
• French/English bilingualism is a strong asset.
