Description
Our Calgary energy client is hiring a Senior Contracts Specialist to execute end-to-end contract management for Turnarounds for Canadian and US based assets
Must Have:
- 10+ years experience in Contract Management
- Proficient in SAP Ariba and MS Office
- Experience in end-to-end contract management (planning, execution and closeout)
Nice to Have:
- Experience in turnarounds, large construction projects or brownfield projects.
What you'll do:
Planning:
- Develop commercial evaluation criteria
- Develop documentation for sourcing and award
- Review and advise on compliance with policies and procedure
- Guide contractual discussions and negotiator
- Prepare and negotiate contracts
Execution:
- Provide oversight of the performance of the major contracts
- Develop and implement the contract management plan
- Review change requests
- Ensure KPIs and P2P terms align with contracts
Closeout:
- Facilitate contract closeout
- Support claims team for any claims submitted
- Ensure invoices are paid in a reasonable time
