Senior Contracts Specialist to execute end-to-end contract management for Turnarounds for Canadian and US based assets

Our Calgary energy client is hiring a Senior Contracts Specialist to execute end-to-end contract management for Turnarounds for Canadian and US based assets

Must Have:

• 10+ years experience in Contract Management
• Proficient in SAP Ariba and MS Office
• Experience in end-to-end contract management (planning, execution and closeout)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in turnarounds, large construction projects or brownfield projects.

What you'll do:

Planning:

• Develop commercial evaluation criteria
• Develop documentation for sourcing and award
• Review and advise on compliance with policies and procedure
• Guide contractual discussions and negotiator
• Prepare and negotiate contracts

Execution:

• Provide oversight of the performance of the major contracts
• Develop and implement the contract management plan
• Review change requests
• Ensure KPIs and P2P terms align with contracts

Closeout:

• Facilitate contract closeout
• Support claims team for any claims submitted
• Ensure invoices are paid in a reasonable time
