Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (10+ years) to lead data analytics initiatives using Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform

Join a high-visibility banking analytics team driving Payment Modernization projects across North America. This position leads end-to-end reporting and insights development to build self-serve metrics, dashboards, and scorecards supporting payments operations and GTB business transformation. The role offers deep involvement in modernized data infrastructure and visibility with senior leadership within the organization. This is a one-year engagement with potential extension and conversion to permanent.

Must Haves

• 10+ years in business intelligence, data analytics, and insights roles within the banking domain
• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform
• Proficiency in ETL processes including data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment
• Strong analytical background for evaluating financial metrics, trends, and anomalies
• Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, computer science, finance or related field

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree or MBA
• Experience with Azure Databricks and GCP
• Previous involvement in large-scale transformational projects

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics workstreams supporting Payment Modernization across GTB operations
• Develop end-to-end reports and dashboards enabling self-serve business insights
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to define data requirements and target state views
• Build robust data pipelines and maintain data lineage and governance
• Champion BI and analytics technology adoption within the team
• Deliver training sessions on BI platform enhancements and data tools
• Coordinate with other analytics and business planning teams to align reporting strategy
