Our utilities client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with Disaster Recovery experience to update plans, guides and develop overall test strategy.

This role will require you to be onsite 3 days/week in Calgary or Edmonton offices

Must Haves:

• 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
• Develop detailed Functional and Non-Functional Requirements for system architecture and functionality
• Must have previous working experience within Disaster & Recovery
• Develop or update legacy Disaster Recovery Plans and Technical Recovery Guides (process analysis and technical writing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Technical Leads and applicable IT SMEs to conduct application architectural reviews and analyze the potential for alternative/redundant application platforms
• Participate in prep work for DR Tests including Change Requests in accordance with existing change management process
• Lead a collaborative effort with project team members to develop a detailed environment and implementation plan including data migration, DR Testing, and transition to operations artifacts
• Lead a collaborative effort with project team members to develop a DR Test Strategy and applicable artifacts
• Lead a collaborative effort with project team members to map critical business processes for mission critical applications
