Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work with a procurement team to review current processes, understand pain points and propose new IT process recommendations

Candidates must be located in Calgary as they will need to be in-office when required

Must Haves:

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst with a focus on Procurement and process review, re-engineering, or process improvement within complex organizations
• 5+ years in public sector, regulated, or policy-driven procurement environments
• 5+ years in IT procurement, RFP development, and stakeholder engagement, including documentation

Strong Nice to Haves:

• Skill in analyzing current processes and developing actionable recommendations
• Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and documentation sessions
• Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT and procurement

Responsibilities

• Assess the current end-to-end IT component of the RFP process
• Identify inefficiencies, governance gaps, and risks affecting timelines and compliance
• Facilitate discussions and workshops with IT, Supply, and subject matter experts
• Document current-state and future-state processes with clear decision points
• Recommend improvements to templates, workflows, and governance practices
• Support implementation or trial of approved process changes and gather feedback
