Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with multiple software implementation projects, including creating test plans and UAT coordination

Calgary based office. Ideal candidate will be in Calgary, but open to 100% remote in Canada. 37.5 hour work week

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with a focus on application projects (Package application implementations/system development projects)
• 5+ years of experience producing detailed specifications for a development team.
• 5+ years of experience with Data Analysis
• Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Nice to haves:

• Experience in project management, planning, reporting and estimating.
• Experience with Geospatial related projects.
• Experience with RFP/Procurement projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering and documentation, business/technical analysis, creating test plans, UAT coordination, project planning, and estimation.
• Develop trusted relationships and demonstrate innovation / initiative with a focus on customer service.
• The Business/System Analyst will coordinate with other internal IT resources, external vendors, other project and business unit stakeholders to implement solutions following our clients Policies, Processes and Project Methodologies.
