We are seeking a Senior BSA with banking business experience in Capital Markets and Global Markets, to serve as a Document Management Specialist.

Location : Toronto, 4 days a week

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Context :

  • Scope: Enterprise-wide Capital Markets, starting with Global Markets
  • Current state: ServiceNow (to be decommissioned)
  • Target state: New unified platform with client self-service (2-year horizon)
  • In phases:
  • Phase 1: Front office delivery (Oct/Nov) with bidirectional APIs during transition
  • Phase 2: Partner migration (AML/KYC/Tax/Credit)
  • Phase 3: Full platform deployment across IB, GTB
  • Phase 4: Continue with value-adds in terms of features (doc mgmt., product processors, etc)

3. BSA - Document Management Specialist

Key responsibilities:

  • Current state analysis across all divisions (Legal, Tax, AML/KYC)
  • Evaluate centralized document management solutions (working with TD enterprise architecture SME)
  • Design document management replacement & centralization strategy

Deliverables:

  • Current state assessment report
  • Document management platform recommendation
  • Plan for doc management centralization


Must Haves

Banking/Capital Markets domain experience - Strong background in financial services, ideally within legal, tax, AML/KYC, or compliance-heavy functions.

Business Systems Analysis expertise - Proven ability to gather, document, and validate requirements across multiple business divisions.

Document Management experience - Hands-on experience with enterprise document/content management systems (e.g., OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum, Box, etc.).

Current state / gap analysis skills - Ability to perform assessments across multiple business units and document pain points, redundancies, and risks.

Solution evaluation & recommendation - Experience evaluating enterprise platforms and creating fit-gap, cost-benefit, and recommendation reports.

Workflow/process design - Ability to design document-centric workflows across compliance, onboarding, and client management functions.

Stakeholder management - Skilled at engaging with legal, tax, AML/KYC, and technology SMEs to drive alignment.

Enterprise architecture collaboration - Experience working with architecture teams to align solutions with enterprise standards.

Excellent documentation & communication skills - Able to produce assessment reports, strategy papers, and clear recommendations.
