We are seeking a Senior bilingual PL/SQL Developer to analyze, design, and develop system solutions for complex business needs. The role involves coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications while ensuring high-quality design and performance. The developer will translate business requirements into technical specifications, guide project teams, and deliver robust programmatic solutions within timelines. Responsibilities include writing and executing unit/integration tests, supporting regression testing strategies, and providing Level 1 application support. Strong problem-solving skills, technological versatility, and the ability to communicate effectively with users and colleagues are essential.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Plan activities related to improving operational performance.
• Advise developers to assist them in their project activities.
• Participate in all phases of projects to ensure their realization by cooperating and advising users, ensuring the timeline is respected, and communicating the state of progress.
• Apply the methodology (application development cycle) adopted by the team and department.
• Manage client expectations to provide good customer service.
• In case of a critical or urgent situation, help the maintenance team facilitate rapid problem resolution.
• Assist as Level 2 support for production systems to ensure functionality, with ad hoc requests.
• Analyze systems and make recommendations to ensure they are optimal and meet the quality criteria set by business units.
• Collaborate with the integration group to ensure the stability of the CI/CD pipeline in place for deploying database configurations.
• Participate in the platform's evolution by analyzing business line needs, providing effort estimates, and implementing requested changes through stored procedure programming.
• Propose recommendations to contribute to improving system development and maintenance processes.
• Provide technical assistance to junior application development staff.

Must Haves:

• 6 years of experience in database development and modeling.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL.
• Good knowledge of Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c.
• Knowledge of GIT.
• Strong analytical and synthesizing skills.
• Knowledge of Agile development environment.
• Bilinguism required (FR-EN) - For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

• Knowledge of Jira tools (asset).
• Knowledge of C#, VBA, Linux scripting (asset).
