Our valued non-profit client is seeking a Senior Bilingual Business Systems Analyst to support various SDLC and ERP projects for a non-profit client!


Permanent full-time role in Ottawa, ON (Hybrid - 2 days/week on-site). 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.


As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for supporting various IT projects such as new ERP implementation initiatives (Dynamics 365), Azure cloud migrations, and application modernization projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing, managing, and coordinating the entire system development life cycle process from analysis and planning through to project implementation and delivery of the final product.
  • Collaborate with the IT Project Management Officers and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
  • Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • Lead and conduct research on applications, software and hardware products to meet agreed-upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts.
  • Participate in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
  • Participate in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
  • Where applicable, develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on user requirements.
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.


Must Have Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting application development or ERP implementation initiatives, particularly with a focus on M365 applications such as Dynamics 365 (D365), SharePoint, MS Great Plains, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.)
  • Extensive experience utilizing Visio to document workflows and to create business process documentation
  • Extensive experience setting up Azure DevOps


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Demonstrated experience working with technologies such as Workday or Docusign
  • Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows and Azure
  • Project Management certifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2)
