Description
The project manager serves as the central point of contact among all project participants (sponsors, managers, project stakeholders, etc.) for project delivery. This includes organizations and processes, in order to enable resources from BRP business areas and external partners to be managed.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Ensure the project is successfully executed in accordance with the strategic objectives of the organization and/or business unit.
Develop and draft the project plan and validate/refine resource plans.
Submit contribution requests for all contributors to the project.
Ensure that requested resources are approved and allocated to the assigned projects and make change requests, if applicable.
Complete the standard deliverables of the PMO.
Assume responsibility and accountability for all aspects of project delivery, in alignment with the scope defined by the sponsor, as outlined below, including, but not limited to:
Contributing to the update of the business case, prerequisites, and project file.
Management of the scope, schedule, budget, risks, change requests, quality, issues and blocking points.
Assignment of tasks.
Management of project interdependencies.
Validation of external supplier invoices.
Preparation and presentation of reports to the promoter and Steering Committees, and provision of information to the project office.
Presentation of the project to various committees.
Preparation and presentation at various decision points (gating) for phase transitions.
Coordination and support in the transition to operations (implementation, post-implementation, etc.).
Compliance with existing processes: weekly status reports in the system, creation of reports for any changes to the project, compliance with existing templates, etc.
Ensure approval for all key deliverables and adherence to the project office's project management framework.
Supervise all contributors assigned to the project, including business analysts, application managers, solution integration architects, and collaborators such as HR and communication staff, and approve the time sheets.
Make decisions concerning project management and content by consulting with key team members and other stakeholders.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A bachelor's degree in business administration, business computing, computer engineering, or any related discipline.
Five to seven years of experience in project management.
A recognized certification in project management (PMP, ACP, PSM, etc.) would be an asset.
Good knowledge of business, operational and corporate processes.
Experience working in matrix environments.
Bilingual in French and English.

Contributing to finding solutions: assessing problematic situations, trying to determine causes, exploring potential solutions, and proposing recommendations.
Exhibiting leadership: mobilizing and inspiring the resources under your care, communicating clear expectations, and providing the necessary support to achieve both individual and organizational goals within the project.
