Location: B&L (1 day/week onsite, 4 days remote)

Job Overview:We are looking for a Senior Automation Developer with strong expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, Node.js, and JavaScript to join our team supporting the PC Health digital health platform. The successful candidate will focus on building and maintaining test automation for key user flows, including account creation and feature enhancements. This is a hands-on automation role with a small portion (20%) involving manual testing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working in a hybrid model with 1 day per week onsite at the B&L location.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Design and execute test strategies for new digital health features and enhancements.
- Focus on key workflows such as account creation, user interaction, and data validation.
- Perform manual testing (~20%) for exploratory and edge-case scenarios where automation isn’t practical.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers in an Agile environment.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and document reproducible issues.
- Ensure proper integration of test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously improve test coverage, framework scalability, and execution speed.
- 5+ years of experience in test automation and QA for web applications.
- Expertise with Playwright automation framework.
- Strong TypeScript development skills (80% of the work).
- Proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js for scripting and test integration.
- Experience testing complex web applications, particularly around authentication and user workflows.
- Solid understanding of Agile QA methodologies, test planning, and bug reporting tools like Jira.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setting (1 day/week onsite at B&L).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
