Duration: Sept 8 to Jan 31, 2026
Location: Mississauga (5 Days a week on site)
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Management, the Manager, Strategic Programs leads the development and implementation of advanced strategies aimed at improving the overall value proposition of Marketplace Canada. This role is crucial in transforming complex data into actionable insights that directly influence strategic decisions and drive significant GMV growth for the Marketplace team. As a leader, you'll foster a culture of data-driven excellence, working collaboratively with internal and cross-functional partners to optimize business performance across various key initiatives.
A true expert in the analytics space, this position demands a deep understanding of database architecture and reporting platforms, combined with exceptional business acumen. You'll be instrumental in shaping our customer-facing programs through enabling Strategic account management with solutions that help create value.

What you'll do...
• Strategic Growth Leadership: Collaborate with the Senior Director, Marketplace Growth to define, develop, and execute robust data-driven strategies aimed at maximizing GMV growth, and provide comprehensive reporting on their effectiveness.
• Performance Optimization through Data-Driven Initiatives:
o Sponsored Ads Program Success: Partner closely with Account Managers to analyze the performance of sponsored ads programs, developing data-backed strategies to optimize their effectiveness and demonstrate clear ROI.
o Category Events & Experiences: Work with Account Managers to define success metrics and analyze the impact of Category events and experiences, providing insights that drive future strategy and growth.
o Pricing Strategy & Competitiveness: Lead the analysis of price gap data, collaborating with Account Managers to identify opportunities and strategies for improving our price competitiveness on the marketplace.
o Content Scoring & Quality: Develop and implement analytical frameworks to assess and improve content scoring, working with Account Managers to ensure product listings are optimized for discoverability and conversion.
• Marketplace Conversion Enhancement: Drive the analysis of site metric reporting across the entire Marketplace, identifying key levers and strategic actions to significantly improve overall conversion rates.
• Campaign & ROI Optimization: Partner closely with the Marketplace Campaign Manager to design, build, and automate sophisticated campaign and deals effectiveness reports, directly improving return on marketing investment.
• Performance Measurement & Insights: Oversee the development and maintenance of critical weekly KPI reporting, encompassing key business metrics such as traffic, views, item conversion, and AOV. You'll ensure the highest data quality standards, particularly within Adobe Analytics dashboards.
• Advanced BI & Ad Hoc Reporting: Lead the creation of automated and ad hoc business intelligence reports, empowering the business with rapid, data-driven insights to accelerate GMV growth.
• Risk Mitigation & Solutioning: Proactively identify and monitor lead and lag indicators, highlighting potential risks, and develop strategic solutions to mitigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
• Storytelling with Data & Executive Communication: Direct the collection, analysis, and synthesis of complex information from disparate sources, transforming it into clear, compelling, and actionable narratives that inform executive-level decision-making. You will be responsible for presenting these insights to large groups, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Reporting Infrastructure Enhancement: Drive the continuous improvement and enhancement of existing Tableau, Qlik, and Looker reports, ensuring they evolve to meet the dynamic and growing needs of the business.

Qualifications...
• 3+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce analytics and strategy, with at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced data analytics and statistical modeling.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience in data visualization tools is essential.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and manage complex dashboards and reporting suites.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
