QE Lead to support Pharmacy Management System modernization project

Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a QE Lead to support Pharmacy Management System modernization project.

This role involves leading both UAT and QE teams composed of internal staff and vendor partners. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, technical testing expertise, and stakeholder management skills to drive quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Duration: 6 months (to start)

Location: Brampton (Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate testing efforts across UAT and QE teams, ensuring alignment between business users and technical delivery teams.
• Provide guidance on test strategy, scenario development, and execution.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including product owners, SMEs, and vendor partners to align on testing scope and priorities.
• Mentor and support QE resources, driving consistency in process and approach across teams.
• Prepare and deliver test progress reports and presentations to executives.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both microservices and monolithic systems.

Must Have Skills:

• Proven leadership experience - strong mentorship experience across junior and senior QA Engineers.
• Proficient in Python (preferred) and/or Java.
• Experience with Robot Framework (preferred) or Selenium.
• Experience testing both microservices-based and monolithic applications.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence for test management and Documentation

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Pharmacy or Healthcare systems
