Our public sector client is seeking a Service Delivery Manager (Secret, 5-10+ years) to oversee end-to-end cloud service delivery within a federal environment

Join a high-impact team supporting cloud service operations for a major federal defence organization. This contract role leads service performance, compliance, and operational coordination across national defence, security, and shared government partners. You will ensure stability, alignment, and continuous improvement of enterprise cloud services in accordance with federal standards and governance. The position offers direct visibility across cross-departmental stakeholders and mission-critical cloud operations.

Must Haves

  • 5-10+ years in IT Service Management or Service Delivery roles supporting enterprise or government environments
  • Strong experience in cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or hybrid government cloud architectures
  • Hands-on application of ITIL frameworks for service management, SLA management, and performance reporting
  • Experience coordinating across federal organizations such as SSC or CSE
  • Secret (or higher) Security Clearance required
  • Post-secondary education in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience supporting DND, SSC, or CSE environments
  • Experience working with secure or classified cloud systems
  • ITIL certification (Foundation or higher)
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
  • Familiarity with DevOps and modern cloud operations practices

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall service delivery performance for cloud services within the defence environment
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, OLAs, and ITIL-based service management processes
  • Act as escalation point for major incidents and service disruptions
  • Coordinate across DND, SSC, CSE, and external vendors for integrated service delivery
  • Support cloud service operations including incident, problem, change, and release management
  • Monitor and report on service performance metrics and KPIs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational maturity initiatives
