Our valued Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Application Architect to assist in designing, developing and integrating applications in a multi-tier IT environment.

Our valued Public Sector client is looking for a Senior resource to analyze and prepare system design and interface specifications for enterprise-level software application development and implementation, architect and develop software solutions using Unified Modeling Language (UML), and contribute to IM/IT projects within the Public Safety and Defence business domains.

Responsibilities:

• Develop system architectures, frameworks, and strategies to meet business and application requirements, ensuring integration across software components in a complex enterprise environment.
• Define, review, and refine system requirements, use cases, and specifications, both functional and non-functional, in collaboration with project teams.
• Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions, ensure seamless integration of all technology aspects, and monitor industry trends to align with government and industry standards.
• Document system architectures, interfaces, and standards, including data structures, system interactions, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
• Develop and maintain architecture models at both enterprise and project levels, supporting application developers, security architects, and database designers.
• Provide technical guidance and transfer knowledge gained through architecture, design, and integration to development, support, and maintenance teams.

Must Haves:

• experience developing high availability and high-volume applications
• experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML) including storyboarding and System Use Cases (SUC) in developing systems design
• Top Secret Security Clearance
