Our energy client is seeking a Project Manager, Facilities & Storage Programs (10+ years) to lead integrity-driven maintenance projects across liquids pipeline facilities

Join a team driving high-impact asset integrity initiatives across an extensive liquids pipeline system. This role manages planning, execution, and reporting for multiple programs within Facilities & Storage, including API 653 Internal Inspection & Refurbishment, Small Tanks & Pressure Vessels, and CSA Z341 Oil Storage Maintenance. The position offers close collaboration with engineering, controls, supply chain, safety, and quality teams overseeing project lifecycle delivery. The opportunity provides visibility across operations and infrastructure supporting critical energy assets.

Contract, Calgary or Edmonton, Hybrid, Working Hours: MST - Mon, Tues, Thurs in office / Weds, Fri at home

Must Haves

  • 10+ years in project management, engineering, and field operations within the energy industry
  • Proven experience delivering facilities or storage projects in oil & gas environments
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate budgeting, project controls, and cost estimation activities
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (up to 25%)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Nice to Have

  • Experience with API 653 tank maintenance
  • Familiarity with CSA Z341 Oil Storage Maintenance and Pressure Vessel programs

Responsibilities

  • Plan and report on project scope in partnership with Facilities Integrity sponsors
  • Develop cost estimates for budgeting, scope changes, and new opportunities
  • Manage coordination with Project Controls to track performance, approve invoices, and close financials
  • Work with Supply Chain on contracts, RFPs, material requisitions, and purchase orders
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to finalize repair scope and construction packages
  • Direct service providers through planning, execution, and lessons learned initiatives
  • Oversee field execution schedules, outage planning, and construction progress reviews
  • Support continuous improvement of safety and quality across project activities
