Description
S.i Systems public BC health authority client is seeking a Systems Integration Architect to provide WFM expertise for integration and application transitions related to UKG implementation.
Permanent role with BC Government client - you must live be based in British Columbia
Preference is for someone willing to relocate to beautiful and inexpensive Prince George
Hours: Must be able to work PST hours
Salary range: Band 8 - $94,000 - $114,000
Reporting to: Regional Director Corporate Systems
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Experience as an architect detailing the integrations of applications and systems for a Workforce management (WFM) project
- Experience on a WFM project
- ITIL

- UKG / Kronos experience
JOB DUTIES:
- You will provide overall architecture expertise for the integration and application transition.
- They are transitioning from one tool to the next, and rebuilding interfaces
- Which apps to decommission?
- What changes need to happen?
- You will coordinating resources required to make the application interface changes and build new integrations
- Write diagrams
- Test interfaces
- Decommission tools
- Plan around what the inventories are - application inventory
- Future state of applications
- What transitions need to happen - changes? Redesigned?

- Custom application development when required
- Leads the research and design of all new and upgraded solution architectures for their related department by monitoring and analyzing industry trends and best practices, manufacturer design and implementation standards, and strategic and project requirements to ensure success of the solution.
- Communicates with senior management regarding status affecting integration of new and modified solution architectures. Takes immediate and appropriate action as required on critical or escalated issues related to solution architecture.
- Manages and works closely with project, technology, and research teams to produce technology solution designs and deliverables, based on organizational priorities and requirements. These solutions are of high quality, highly available, and are on time and on budget, while also ensuring adherence to Privacy and Security standards.
- Works closely with other Health Authorities, the Province of BC government entities, and other contracted vendors, manufacturers, and service providers to ensure that the required technologies and desired outcomes are incorporated and delivered in the solutions proposed. Implements specific courses of action to address issues, gaps, or opportunities.
- Allocates, advises, and provides technical directions for staff, resources, and technologies within the Solution Specialist team and other IM/IT technology areas, including but not limited to infrastructure, end points, tools and platforms, identity management and security platforms, cross-organizational integrations, and client experience.
- Leads, co-leads and/or participates in the IM/IT Architectural Review Board as needed to ensure all net new technologies proposed for implementation are reviewed by subject matter experts from each technology area including Privacy and Security. Implements specific courses of action to address issues, gaps, or opportunities.
- Defines requirements and provides expert research, reporting, and advice for special projects involving the integration of computing end points including mobile devices, applications and peripherals, identity management systems, servers, storage, network, video conferencing and telephony systems.
