Our public sector client is seeking a Portfolio Management Advisor (10+ years) to lead enterprise portfolio oversight and governance enablement - 01152

Join a well-established organization delivering large-scale corporate initiatives with high visibility across business, finance, and technology teams. This role provides end-to-end ownership of the enterprise portfolio, ensuring alignment to organizational strategy and governance frameworks. The position supports executive decision-making through consolidated reporting, prioritization, and benefit tracking across approximately $100M of ongoing initiatives.

Contract till end of October 2026 with strong chances of renewal

hybrid Tuesdays and Wednesdays onsite in North Vancouver.

37.5 hours/week.


Must Haves

  • Advanced portfolio management experience with applied governance enablement and executive reporting
  • Strong analytical capability to synthesize portfolio data for decision support and oversight
  • Demonstrated financial planning and benefits measurement expertise within structured environments
  • Proven ability in resource allocation, capacity planning, and cross-functional coordination
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional designation in a business, technical, or scientific field

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing or refining portfolio governance tools and processes
  • Prior exposure to public sector portfolio management environments
  • Familiarity with corporate initiative funding and financial coordination practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise intake and planning cycle with business owners and relationship managers
  • Consolidate and maintain the corporate initiative portfolio aligned with strategic objectives
  • Support portfolio-level financial planning and coordination with Finance
  • Implement and refine governance processes and tools across initiatives
  • Optimize resource allocation and sequencing based on capacity and dependencies
  • Prepare facilitation and decision support materials for executive governance forums
  • Track and report benefits realization and portfolio performance
