Description
Our client is seeking a Network & Security Tools Support Analyst to monitor and maintains network and security tools in various environments - 00726
Initially a 12-months contract. 2 days/week in Burnaby. 37.5 hours/week.
Must Have:
- 4+ years experience working in IT security
- Technical skills in advanced network and systems technologies
- Working within regulatory environment
- Creating technical documents involving requirements, designs, as built, and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule security patching activities across multiple generating stations, balancing operational priorities.
- Monitor and manage software security updates
- Conduct security patch testing and document test results
- Provide support to field teams for completing cyber-security compliance patch related activities
- Work closely with IT to design and implement patching strategies.
- Collaborate with NERC Compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage complex schedules and coordinate across multiple sites.
- Experience with Windows OS, Linux, Cisco patching and Windows administration.
- Familiarity with NERC CIP standards is not required
- Advanced knowledge in Excel.
