Our Calgary client is hiring a Junior Buyer/Purchasing Assistant to support a high volume of purchasing requests using Oracle
Must Have:
- 1-2 years experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Assistant or Supply Chain Administrator
- Post Secondary education in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Oracle financial systems
Responsibilities:
- Assist with an increased volume of purchasing requests
- Assist with mapping, efficiency review, training and documentation of the Supply Chain RFx process
- Update the Strategic Sourcing manual, templates and procedures to include new processes
- Ensure purchased goods meet standards and specifications
- Review Purchase Requisitions for accuracy
