Description
Onsite 2 days/week - Tues/Wed MANDATORY - the schedule will alternate between two days onsite, then three days, and back to two days, and so on.
Hours: 35/Week
Contract: 3-4+ months + extension
Must Haves
- Proven ability to develop and maintain procedural documentation for IT operations
- Experience preparing Municipal Council reports and supporting documentation
- Strong background in technical writing within the public sector
Nice to Have
- Experience collaborating with city departments or councils
- Knowledge of municipal governance processes
- Familiarity with local government reporting standards
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain technical procedures for IT and council-related processes
- Draft and standardize Municipal Council reports for internal and public use
- Ensure documentation complies with established corporate standards and policies
- Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to verify content accuracy
- Support ongoing improvements to documentation frameworks used by the City of Hamilton
