Our client is looking for an Intermediate Payroll Specialist with Ceridian Dayforce experience to support an IT consulting company hybrid 3 days a week on-site.


Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in a professional, corporate environment. This role is ideal for an intermediate payroll professional with strong Ceridian Dayforce experience.


Must Have's:
  • Intermediate to senior-level payroll experience
  • Hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce
  • Experience processing both Canadian and U.S. payroll
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, corporate environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Process end-to-end payroll for approximately 1,100 employees across Canada and the United States
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  • Support both Canadian (salaried and hourly) and U.S. (hourly) employee groups
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and provincial/state regulations
  • Reconcile payroll data, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters
  • Prepare payroll reports and support audits as required
  • Ensure all payroll activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements

Work Environment
  • Professional, corporate setting
  • Hybrid work model: 3 days per week onsite in downtown Calgary
