Intermediate Network Analyst required with strong Cisco network experience. (1301180)

Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of an Intermediate Network Analyst required with strong Cisco network experience to support Network implementation project.

ROLE:

The candidate will be assigned to a Network Implementation project, that is tasked with implementing a data network solution that would enable physical security related devices at several of Client's parking garages to communicate with the central security management center.

Duties

• Complete or contribute towards documentation such as Business Requirements, Master Test Plan, and Test Completion Report
• Create Bill of Materials and/or obtain quotes from vendors for WAN circuit installs, installation of cables, racks etc
• Install/Rack switches, configure and turn-up switches
• Test switches and end-to-end circuits and document the results as needed
• Ensure network connectivity is as per expectation, troubleshooting any issues till resolved
• Will require going on-site to various parking garage sites within Toronto and working on-site
• Will require working after-hours and/or weekends as needed for go-live

MUST HAVE:

• Post-secondary education in Network Engineering, Data Communication or Computer Sciences
• Certification and designation related to Networking technology/Cisco Networking
• Knowledge of networks, network operating systems, network devices, network design principles, network analysis and telecommunication principles.
• Good overall understanding of OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, and MPLS/VPLS.
• Technical experience with Networking technology/Cisco networking
• Good overall understanding of structured network cabling standards and design.
• Valid Province of Ontario Class G driver's licence.
