Description
Our client has an immediate requirement for a permanent Intermediate Database Administrator (DBA) to focus on the administration, maintenance, and performance of the SQL Server databases and support other platforms such as Snowflake, MySQL and MongoDB.
Permanent Position - hybrid role (3 days on-site) for Calgary based client
"This role will focus on the administration, maintenance, and performance of our SQL Server databases and support other platforms such as Snowflake, MySQL and MongoDB. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with solid experience in database environments and a strong foundation in SQL Server technologies, particularly SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS."
Must Have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in a SQL Server environment
- Solid experience with SQL Server, including performance tuning and backup/recovery
- Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
- Familiarity with database replication techniques.
- Basic understanding of cloud-based database solutions (AWS preferred)
Have to Have:
- Experience with Snowflake, MongoDB, and MySQL
- Microsoft or AWS database certifications
