SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Finance Ops Analyst will participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service, quality, innovation, and teamwork, and provide support for a broad range of operational activities in delivery of the new Reconciliation Platform.
Specific job functions include:
• Execute business processes to facilitate account reconciliations and attestation of account balances within the new Reconciliation Platform across the Bank
• Configure the reconciliation tool in line with policy and standard best practices
• Conduct specialized reporting to support business partners, functional areas in delivery requirements, build and test of the new Reconciliation Platform across the Bank
• Provide meaningful analysis to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of reconciliation tool
• Facilitate the knowledge transfer and training, as assigned, to support business partners, functional areas in delivery requirements, including test and monitoring of the new Reconciliation Platform across the Bank
• Identify and/or investigate key operational and process issues and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interests
• Provide specialized technical / business / function knowledge for areas supported
• Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external requirements
• Support the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
• Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools, and techniques
• Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training across the team
• Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce
• Execute on routine requests and/or ad-hoc requests
• Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities

Specific Educational Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree/ college diploma preferred
MUST HAVE:
1. Undergraduate degree in accounting/business OR related experience in financial reporting and accounting
2. Advanced Excel- V look ups and pivot tables
3. Great analytical skills
4. Good presentation skills using PPT and/or other programmes
5. Communication skills
Nice to haves:
1. Financial reporting
