Senior Business Analyst to support the implementation of a new unified platform for a large banking client.

Location: Toronto, 4 days a week

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Context :

• Scope: Enterprise-wide Capital Markets, starting with Global Markets
• Current state: ServiceNow (to be decommissioned)
• Target state: New unified platform with client self-service (2-year horizon)
• In phases:
• Phase 1: Front office delivery (Oct/Nov) with bidirectional APIs during transition
• Phase 2: Partner migration (AML/KYC/Tax/Credit)
• Phase 3: Full platform deployment across IB, GTB
• Phase 4: Continue with value-adds in terms of features (doc mgmt., product processors, etc)

BSA/Product Lead - Workflow Focus

Key responsibilities:

• Translate strategy into detailed requirements (2 cycles ahead of current team)
• Focus on post-front office roadmap
• Support establishing JIRA structure and PMO dashboards (with PMO team)
• Document ServiceNow decommission requirements
• Design workflow modifications for new platform

Deliverables:

• Detailed workflow requirements
• Migration documentation
• PMO dashboard setup

Must Haves

• Capital Markets / Global Markets expertise - Strong understanding of banking business processes within capital markets (front office, middle office, back office).
• JIRA/PMO tools - Expertise in JIRA setup/management and creating dashboards for project tracking.
• Workflow design & documentation - Skilled in mapping, redesigning, and documenting complex workflows, especially in transitioning platforms.
• Platform migration experience - Hands-on experience with platform decommissioning/migrations (ideally ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms).
• API Integration knowledge - Experience working with bidirectional APIs and system integrations.
