Our energy client is seeking a Expeditor II (3-5 years of experience) to manage timely delivery of equipment and materials for Supply Chain Management projects

Join a hybrid team based in Calgary, supporting procurement and logistics activities within large-scale energy projects. This role ensures all purchase orders, contracts, and project materials are delivered accurately and on time while maintaining close coordination across vendors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders. The position offers visibility across supply chain operations and provides hands-on involvement in expediting, documentation, and stakeholder communication for complex project deliverables.

Must Haves

  • 3-5 years in Supply Chain Management with strong focus on Expediting and Procurement processes
  • Experience managing equipment/material deliveries for Purchase Orders and Contracts
  • Proficiency in procurement software and systems for tracking and reporting order status
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for supplier and stakeholder coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with international logistics and customs documentation
  • Experience reviewing vendor documentation such as ITPs, drawings, and RFIs
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud procurement systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned equipment and materials to ensure on-time readiness and delivery according to project schedules
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order status, monitor fabrication progress, and resolve potential delays
  • Schedule, lead, record, and follow up on vendor meetings and project supply reviews
  • Maintain and verify complete documentation between vendors, engineering, and project teams
  • Notify stakeholders of delays and work with suppliers to mitigate risks
  • Oversee logistics moves, monitor shipment progress, and manage customs clearance when required
  • Keep accurate electronic records for all procurement and expediting activities to support PO/Contract closeout
