Our financial services client is seeking a Business Information Management Analyst II to support model implementation testing within the risk model development domain

Join a collaborative team within enterprise risk model development supporting valuation and market risk models for a leading financial organization. This role focuses on model implementation testing, change management, and control functions supporting TDS valuation and Global Equities Derivatives initiatives. The position offers exposure to senior stakeholders across quantitative, market risk, and product control functions within a highly visible and specialized environment.

Must Haves

  • Proficiency in Market Risk, Credit Risk, and derivatives pricing modelling
  • Hands-on programming using Python for data and statistical analysis
  • Experience in business requirement gathering, data analysis, modelling, testing, and documentation in financial or IT environments
  • University degree in financial engineering, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field

Nice to Have

  • CFA or FRM certification
  • Quantitative modeling experience within a large financial institution

Responsibilities

  • Create, oversee, and track model implementation testing requirements and test artifacts for equity derivatives pricing models
  • Develop and maintain model implementation test strategies supporting end-to-end testing phases
  • Define and deliver test cases and test plans that meet business objectives and timelines
  • Provide timely updates, analyses, and findings to senior management and stakeholders
  • Identify and escalate issues to ensure prompt resolution
  • Collaborate effectively with risk, quantitative, and technology teams across the organization
  • Contribute to a cohesive and high-performing model control team environment
