Our energy & resources client is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager (10+ years) to lead delivery of enterprise and operational cybersecurity initiatives

Join a major mining organization driving enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs across critical infrastructure and digital operations. This role oversees end-to-end project delivery for initiatives spanning security monitoring, identity & access management, network and OT/IT integration, and infrastructure hardening. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders to ensure projects meet governance, compliance, and resiliency objectives. This is a high-visibility contract role supporting strategic cybersecurity delivery across the organization.

Contract, Vancouver, Hybrid 3 days per week onsite, Working Hours: PST

Must Haves

  • 5-10+ years in cybersecurity project management within infrastructure or enterprise technology environments
  • Strong experience across security monitoring, identity & access management, network security, and OT/IT integration
  • PMP certification and CISSP designation
  • Background in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery models
  • Education in project management, engineering, or computer science

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mining, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with operational technology (OT) environments
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project or Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end cybersecurity project delivery from initiation through closure
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and resource allocations
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and site operations teams for implementation
  • Facilitate governance, compliance, and audit activities across projects
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and executive updates
  • Manage vendor deliverables, contracts, and performance monitoring
  • Support testing coordination, operational readiness, and transition to sustainment
