Background : banking ideally ( Major Canadian banks )
Ability to lead individually.
Strong technical background- 5yrs
SQL is a must- writing/create queries and drive results
Selenium is an asset
SAS is an asset
Banking is a must have (Major Canadian Banking)
Good communication skills
Must be okay to speak to executives and present information.
Able to handle complex queries
Strong sense of ownership
How will performance be measured: Verbal and QA
SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing multiple projects.
- Write SQL queries
- Testing, data quality
- Interaction among stakeholders within TD at different levels.
MUST HAVE:
1.) SQL (writing/creating queries) - must be able to create queries
2.) Major Banking experience
3.) IT QA background
4.) Test automation experience, able to deep dive investigations.
5) Strong presentation skills
NICE TO HAVE
2.) SAS and Selenium
3.) VBA
4) AML
Candidate must be able to define Automation Strategies that will verify the operation of new services or products while tracking to project schedule 5-7 years of experience
• Proficient in SQL, SAS, VBA and demonstrate hands-on experience in analytics
• Lead complex projects independently and successfully deliver on requirement, testing, testing artifacts, and obtain signoffs
• Expert knowledge of AML transaction monitoring & customer risk rating -Asset
• Ability to perform deep dive investigations and drive recommendations/findings
• Support, mentor and provide guidance to junior level Business Analysts and peers
• Strong ownership mentality and can-do attitude
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills accompanied by strong business acumen with ability to engage senior audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills able to influence and manage a very diverse set of stakeholders
• Flexible and resilience to execute in an agile environment, including the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Acute attention to detail while moving at a fast pace
• Demonstrate analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• High proficiency in MS Office: Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and graphics) and PowerPoint
