Project: execution of the new enterprise data management standards ( control and processes ) .Building data controls evaluating the risk and compliance ( US / CAN ) .

In our goal to become a data driven organization the Bank has established a comprehensive set of Data Management Standards for business and functions to implement and execute data management capabilities effectively and efficiently. We will be focused on the Risk and Compliance (US/CAN) corporate areas of the bank and have a timeline to meet these standards by May 2026.

SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The BIM Specialist will be part of a project pod responsible for executing the required activities to become adherent to the new data management standards. We have prioritized the bank's most critical outputs/reports . Our multi-pod project team will be responsible for over 40 outputs within the Risk and Compliance area and each output will go through stages including:

Materiality Assessment - working directly with output/report owners to determine the most important metrics/line items on the report

Data Supply Chain Analysis - Decomposing the material line items into underlying data elements and tracing them to fully understand and document the systems/transformations and both technical and business metadata.

They will be expected to work with various stakeholders across the bank from differing backgrounds including non-technical business reporting teams to technology teams, data subject matter experts, and governance professionals to deliver against agreed timelines. The ability to communicate effectively with a cross section of stakeholders with varying levels of data management technical knowledge will be a critical skill, as will attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify and appropriately escalate issues and blockers to delivery.

1.) Financial Risk (ie. Credit Risk, Market Risk, Retail Risk)

2.) Data Lineage Analysis and Documentation

4.) Ms office suite (Access/Excel/ Visio)

5.) Agile / Waterfall environment
