Experience preparing and reviewing QC & Federal (TP-1 & T1)

Fluency in French (spoken and written) is a must

Responsibilities:

Identify, analyze, and accurately update tax calculations and forms within the software by creating detailed specification for engineers

Test tax calculations/user experience/form display changes within the software.

Apply tax, accounting and business knowledge to develop/improve new software features Work with federal/provincial tax authorities to certify our tax products.

Participate in the development and documentation of key operational processes and checklists, and product specifications.

Work with customer support representatives to resolve customer issues and deal directly with clients, as needed. Continually assess and drive process and tool improvements. Able to effectively prioritize individual and team work to ensure delivery of product features with the highest quality and customer value.

Must Have Skills:

Post-secondary education in accounting, finance or equivalent relevant work experience

Experience preparing and reviewing QC & Federal (TP-1 & T1) Strong background in tax research and analysis and a deep understanding of Canadian tax law Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Ability to effectively communicate technical information and complex tax issues in non-technical language for consumption inside and outside of the organization

Comprehensive understanding and use of tax preparation software (experience using TaxCycle, TaxPrep and ProFile is an asset)

Fluency in French (spoken and written) is a must have Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Prior programming/coding experience is a strong asset

Experience with Agile/SCRUM and IT project management is an asset
