Project Overview

The client is building an Enterprise API platform to consolidate multiple APIs from different teams/applications into a single, coherent catalog - accessible by both external clients and internal teams. Key workstreams include:

· Building and exposing new APIs

· Middleware/system integration development

· Publishing and maintaining APIs in production

· Supporting internal dev teams onboarding onto the API infrastructure

Your Role:

• Participate in the application lifecycle, contributing to coding, debugging, and continuous improvement under the guidance of senior team members
• Develop and maintain Microservices using Python, Node.js, React, and SQL
• Heavy focus on API building and versioning
• Gather and help address technical and design requirements in collaboration with Architecture and DevOps teams
• Create and execute test cases aligned to user stories, including UI performance testing, to ensure quality coverage
• Participate in peer code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback to grow your skills and uphold team standards
• Use AI coding assistant tools responsibly - validating outputs, ensuring accuracy and security, and developing sound engineering judgment
• Support production systems for your products - contributing to incident triage, resolution, and root cause analysis with team support
• Communicate proactively on task progress and take ownership of assigned deliverables

1. Intermediate Full Stack Developer

Must Haves:

• You must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of application development experience
• API experience is a must
• Hands-on experience with React and Node.js and/or Python or GoLang
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience using AI coding assistant tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Q) with an understanding of responsible usage
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and project management tools such as JIRA
• Excellent communication skills - this is key

Differentials:

• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, etc.
• Experience in the financial services industry, especially if related to fund accounting.

Salary Range: CAD $105,000 - CAD $135,000

2.Senior Full Stack Developer

Must Haves:

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven experience using AI coding agents
• API experience is a must
• 8+ years of Application Development experience
• 3+ years of programming experience in NodeJs/Python/GoLang
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or CodePipeline
• Experience with Project Management tools such as JIRA
• Knowledge of financial industry is highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively in a global team environment

Salary Range: CAD $120,000-$150,000
