Position Title: Accessibility QA Automation Specialist

Line of Business: EDA (Enterprise Digital Accessibility) team

Duration: 8 months

Remote/Hybrid: hybrid, every Wednesday and 3rd Friday of month

Office Location: 81 Bay 16th Floor

What project will this contractor be working on? Enterprise Digital Accessibility Monitoring project

Selling points of the positions: high chances of extension, opportunity to learn more about accessibility, high visibility role

Best vs average candidate: accessibility testing skills, strong team player, strong desire to learn, expertise in scripting(JSON yaml python, automation testing frameworks like Robot, BDD, Playwright, Cypress, webdriverIO, will be working on Deque Monitor but they will be trained on it, ability to work on different projects at same time, experience with Jira, Figma, Deque tools and HTML/CSS will be a great asset

Must Have Requirement:

1. QA Automation Tester with experience in creating and maintaining test scripts - 3 years

2. Expertise in using Json, YAML, JavaScript and Python - 3 years

3. Experience multiple automation testing frameworks (Robot, BDD, Playwright, Cypress, webdriverIO) - 3 years

4. Strong communication skills

5. Team Player

6. Able to support multiple projects

Nice to Have:

1. Accessibility Manual testing using keyboard, browser zoom, NVDA, JAWS, colour contrast analyzer and other visual inspeections

2. Experience with Jira

3. Deque tools

4. Remediation support within HTML / CSS / JavaScript to address open accessibility issues

5. Design reviews in Figma
