*Contract to Perm*- Hardware Asset Management - Configuration Management, Discovery

Location: Hybrid/Toronto (2 days a week on site) - May Convert to 4 in the Future

Duration: 6 Months (Must Convert to Perm)

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Salary Range: 80-110k

Job #1: Configuration Management

• Ensure daily end-to-end delivery of Configuration Management services in accordance with this Configuration Management Standard and Process

• Managing the day-to-day activities of the process, including establishing priorities and work assignments

• Tracking compliance to policies and procedures and resolving / escalating any compliance issues

• Facilitates Configuration Management audits and data certifications. Identify and report non-compliance situations

• Performs operational activities as defined by Configuration Management procedures

• Work to fulfill Configuration Management Service Requests as assigned

• Oversees the design, coding and testing of reports as needed

• Collects and reports metrics as required and perform triage of breached KPIs

• Identifies Service Improvement opportunities

Job #2: Discovery

• Maintaining and monitoring the Discovery tool and optimize schedules for robust daily discovery

• Support the CMDB health (completeness, correctness & compliance) by improving the CI scan rates

• Providing second and third level of support for Discovery related matters and issues

• Provide technical expertise to enhance the Discovery tool to support the implementation\improvement of other tools\modules (SAM, Service Mapping, etc.)

• Ongoing subsidiaries onboarding: JFL, MD Financial, Pronto, Profuturo, Tangerine

• Kyndryl onboarding

Job #3: Hardware Asset Management

• Responsible for tracking and managing IT hardware assets throughout their lifecycle using the ServiceNow platform.

• Maintains accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, supporting procurement processes, and optimizing asset utilization.

• Collaborate closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to align asset management practices with organizational goals.

• Daily tasks often involve analyzing asset data, resolving discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to streamline operations.

• Perform model management, monitor for unauthorized hardware, and track hardware currency

• Provide governance and oversight to the various localized hardware analyst teams and ensure compliance to the process
