Job PurposeThe North America Supply Chain Manager coordinates supply chain activities across the region. Based in Drummondville and sitting on the Regional Leadership Team they will build effective working relationships with Regional and Group functions and lead a small team. They will own, enhance and embed S&OE, customer service, shipping, transport, internal logistics processes and support a global S&OP deployment. They will support others activities that interface with the supply chain and be responsible for supply chain KPIs. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Management & Leadership
- Key member of regional leadership team to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Management, leadership and development of a team of 4 covering regional supply chain activities customer service, procurement and shipping.
· Hands on operational support to the supply chain team, managing key daily activities to maintain service continuity and enable the team to focus on improvement initiatives.
- Lead improvements in sales related processes that directly impact supply chain planning, order execution, and customer fulfilment
Sales and Supply Chain Process
- Streamline the interface between sales inputs and supply chain workflows, enhance data accuracy and visibility, and ensure reliable day to day execution during a period of transition.
- Map current sales order, forecasting, and customer input processes to identify pain points, gaps, and inefficiencies.
- Improve the quality, structure, and timeliness of inputs from sales to supply chain (e.g., forecasts, order changes, customer priorities).
- Develop clear, standardised processes for Forecast submissions, Customer communications handoffs, Sales order accuracy and completeness.
- Implement simplified tools or templates to improve alignment, visibility, and communication between sales, customer service, and supply chain.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Care and Planning to ensure reliable demand signals and better inputs for planning and inventory management.
- Recommend and implement process KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy drivers, order quality metrics).
- Support data cleansing and master data improvements where needed.
Day to Day Supply Chain Execution Support
- Monitor and manage daily order flows to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment.
- Support order changes, customer updates, and communication flows during periods of high workload.
- Coordinate with supply chain, sales and production to resolve operational issues.
- Support inventory checks, stock reconciliations, and data updates.
- Assist with managing priorities for the 4 person supply chain team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide holiday/absence coverage for core operational tasks (order management, logistics coordination, follow ups).
Continuous Improvement & Documentation
- Create or update SOPs, workflows, and process maps for sales to supply chain handoffs and supply chain daily activities.
- Capture lessons learned and define sustainable processes for the permanent team.
- Train team members on new tools, workflows, and standards.
General
· All duties are to be always carried out in compliance with group EHS, SOX and business conduct policies and guidelines
· Translate and execute Group Supply Chain strategy into day-to-day Regional operational priorities
· Drive the S&OE and S&OP Regional Supply review meetings, preparing all data and metrics for review. Lead the process, balancing expected global demand with site production capabilities identifying gaps and scenarios, and preparing escalations for executive review where appropriate.
