Description
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :
- Part of the finance team delivering monthly financial results (P & L, Balance Sheet, Capital monitoring, working capital performance & cashflow). To provide the divisions with key and relevant financial performance information to allow meaningful assessment and challenge of the company performance.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of information in the monthly and annual financial statements. Contribute to journal entries and account reconciliations. Help us to meet our goal of reducing the reporting timeframe from 5 days to 4 days.
- Oversees and participate to the accounts receivables department of the region. Seek to resolve problematics, drive standardization and streamlines processes in accordance with internal control guidelines.
- Support the various requests of the sales team such as credit analysis, cost price requests or releasing orders.
- Follow up on capital projects and maintenance with managers. Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring their categorization and depreciation.
- Ensure the filing of statutory accounts, tax returns and other required tax and statistical information is completed accurately and on time.
- Support financial controllers - Americas in optimizing accounting processes and tools used.
- Support the optimisation of working capital and seek to improve the quality and visibility of working capital performance measures and work with the business to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures in line with Group and Local policies.
- To ensure the daily/weekly/monthly accounting systems operate effectively and efficiently.
- To support the North America Financial Controllers with engagement with local management teams across organisational performance and operational day–to-day matters.
