Production Supervisor – Electrical Enclosure Assembly

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor – Electrical Enclosure Assembly to oversee shop production, coordinate enclosure assembly activities, and lead a dynamic team.
You’ll be dedicated to supporting your team, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and safety regulations are met, and fostering continuous improvement.
Your mission will be to:
Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring compliance with production schedules and safety standards;
Monitor and allocate resources (labor and materials) to meet production requirements;
Troubleshoot operational issues and provide quick solutions to minimize downtime;
Oversee electrical enclosure assembly, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements;
Plan and schedule enclosure assembly activities to meet project timelines;
Optimize assembly processes for greater efficiency and profitability;
Collaborate closely with design, procurement, quality, and project management teams to align production with project goals;
Review bills of materials, drawings, and specifications to ensure production readiness and feasibility;
Act as a liaison between production and project teams to resolve technical or scheduling conflicts;
Develop and maintain production plans in line with project timelines;
Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement recovery plans;
Ensure accurate documentation of production activities, progress reports, and quality checks;
Lead and mentor shop teams to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals;
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.) to enhance efficiency;
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
To be the person we’re looking for, you should:
Have advanced English skills (you’ll need to communicate regularly in English, both verbally and in writing);
Have hands-on experience in a workshop environment — in electrical enclosure or control panel assembly, or as a technician;
Have 2–3 years of relevant experience in supervision or team leadership;
Have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shop operations;
Be familiar with safety and quality standards (ISO experience is an asset);
Have experience using an ERP/MRP system for planning (asset);
Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills;
Be able to solve problems quickly and manage multiple priorities;
Be quality-, efficiency-, and teamwork-oriented.
