Benefits

At SUA-V, we design and manufacture ready-to-assemble furniture that combines design, durability, and efficiency. Thanks to the recent addition of new markets, our company continues to evolve and structure itself. Our team is united, passionate… and ambitious. To support our General Manager, who wears (a bit too!) many hats, we are looking for a Production Manager ready to dive into the heart of the action and thrive in a stimulating environment. More info about us: www.sua-v.com

Your Role: Build, Organize, and Get Your Hands Dirty

Working closely with management, you will be responsible for production management. You won't be alone on the front lines: a significant part of the job involves structuring, prioritizing, and developing the existing team.

And once everything is running smoothly on the production line, every operator is at their station, and priorities are well-managed… you dive into the action! Here, we affectionately call this role the "grasshopper": you jump from one station to another to help, adjust, verify, or optimize. You are both the conductor and an active player on the field.

This role is progressive: you won't need to master everything on day one, but you will need to demonstrate a strong learning ability, good judgment, and excellent organizational skills.

What You Will Gradually Do

Production and Maintenance

  • Make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed
  • Follow preventive maintenance programs
  • Order necessary parts and tools

Planning and Production Launch

  • Manage production orders to ensure a good pace and on-time deliveries
  • Manage prototypes in collaboration with the designer / drafter

Tools and Team Support

  • Ensure workstations are well-equipped
  • Track and organize raw material inventory
  • Support operators (numerical saws, drills, edge banders, packaging, etc.)

Quality and Packaging

  • Ensure the efficiency of packaging, verification, and "quarantine" box management steps
  • Ensure compliance with SUA-V quality standards at all stages of manufacturing

Our Tools at Your Service

  • Up-to-date, maintained, and high-performing digital machines
  • Internal ERP to manage raw materials, production times, and priorities in real-time
  • An environment where innovation and rigor go hand in hand

Our Work Philosophy

At SUA-V, we believe it's possible to produce more by working less hard.

That's intelligent efficiency: optimizing each step, reducing unnecessary efforts, and relying on high-performing tools.

Each workstation is equipped with lift tables, ensuring optimal ergonomics for everyone.

We also place great importance on safety: a healthy and safe work environment is non-negotiable.

Working better means producing better.

Your Profile

  • You have experience in production management or manufacturing
  • You are known for your natural leadership and your ability to mobilize a team
  • You are very comfortable with computers: using software and an ERP is part of your daily routine
  • You are structured, autonomous, and practical, with a good ability to manage priorities
  • You have a desire to grow in a local SME where your impact will be real

What We Offer You

  • A key position in a developing Quebec company
  • A stable weekday schedule
  • A human environment, with involved and attentive management
  • The possibility to grow in your role according to your pace and strengths
