Rugged Monitoring specializes in the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge measurement and monitoring solutions for harsh and demanding industrial environments. We are currently seeking a Production Engineering Technician to join our development team in Québec City.

You’ll have the opportunity to play an active role in the development and testing of our data acquisition and monitoring systems, which are at the core of the energy sector—a dynamic and rapidly growing field. Your mission will be to:

  • Provide production support;

  • Propose and implement solutions to resolve issues identified in production;

  • Support the implementation of new work methods, equipment, and technologies;

  • Actively participate in various improvement and optimization projects;

  • Prepare and update technical documentation (procedures, work instructions, reports);

  • Participate in system testing and suggest improvements;

  • Take part in the design and development of production tools;

  • Perform any other tasks required to achieve company goals.

Requested skills

To be the person we’re looking for, you must:

  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Techniques, or a related field;

  • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (an asset);

  • Possess excellent manual and mechanical skills;

  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);

  • Be autonomous, organized, and versatile;

  • Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

  • Experience in fiber optics and electronics is an asset.
