Your role
  • Responsible for Learning programs under his/her leadership; creation and / or updating according to current and future needs for the populations of the stores and store support center.
  • In collaboration with change management advisers, determines the best strategies, budget and deployment plan according to the contexts and populations targeted by the diverse PMO projects.
  • Anticipates needs and support managers in the analysis and offer innovative learning solutions, adapted according to KPIs.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities in existing programs, provides recommendations and addresses them, allowing for a high-quality Learning offer.
  • Provides dashboards and proactive follow-ups with clients for insurance quality and to ensure that strategies are appropriate, realistic, and address needs.
  • Facilitates training sessions and / or conducts workshops.
  • Works closely with SMEs and designs, develops, or oversees the development of various learning solutions based on adult learning principles.
  • Manages the various consultants and suppliers, in projects under his/her supervision, if applicable (contracts, monitoring, guiding.).
  • Acts as a L&D expert.
  • Keeps up to date in his field of expertise, knows best practices and knows how to identify key measurement elements related to the objectives pursued in the programs / projects entrusted to him.
  • Builds strong relationships with internal partners and customers based on collaboration, trust, and integrity.
  • Design microlearning experiences, primarily short-form video content (under 5 minutes) for a retail frontline audience.
  • Create reinforcement questions (multi-level, multiple choice, multi-answer, matching) tailored to Axonify’s format.
  • Transform existing content into learner-friendly, high-impact learning assets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure content accuracy and alignment with brand tone and learning objectives.
  • Support basic video scripting and provide input for video editing and production.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • University degree in a relevant field (training, organizational development), hold a master's degree an asset.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the field of training.
  • Excellent ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Fluency in French and English (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in the Office 365 suite and knowledge of design tools such as Storyline - Articulate as well as experience with talent management systems (SuccessFactors, Workday) an asset.
  • Proficiency in L&D management and adult learning.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management and change management.
  • Ability to act as a strategic partner to meet business needs in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Good understanding of retail and related business issues.
  • Excellent ability to communicate and maintain harmonious relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, to take charge of several projects simultaneously in an organized, structured, and rigorous work approach.
  • Demonstrate engaging leadership that fosters professional development and commitment.
